This is the home page of Tom Durocher, the first Certified Monty Roberts Instructor in Canada

Tom had been a farrier and horse trainer for 20 years before he decided to commit to the training methods of Monty Roberts. 

It had always been Tom's dream to realise his full potential for success as horse trainer. In 2001 he enrolled to study Monty's  concepts at the Monty Roberts Equestrian Academy. In 2005 he became the first Certified Instructor in Canada where he started  to use Monty's concepts with horses and people, too.      

He strongly believes that no matter what we do, violence is not the answer.      

When he is not training horses or doing clinics he works with the youths in and around the community of Fishing Lake Metis Settlement in Alberta, Canada where he lives with his family.

Tom holds clinics and trains horses. As a Certified Monty Roberts Instructor Tom is enabled to do his Introductory Course. Contact him and find out more about his programs!
